About the C4BH: An initiative of the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association
The Centre for Better Health is a new service being developed by the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association (PRA) in order to assist in the prevention of mental illness by providing a range of stress management services to the community.
PRA is a well established non-profit organisation founded in Hackney in 1959 by John Wilder OBE. The Association has developed a wide range of community care facilities aimed at stimulating those recovering from mental illness and thus leading to greater initiative and social awareness. The aim of PRA is to encourage participants to play an active part in the community so that, in conjunction with medical treatments, their symptoms retreat or lessen in significance. With established projects in Hackney, Haringey and Islington, the PRA is now looking to expand the services offered to the general community by means of the Centre for Better Health.
Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association Services, hosts to the C4BH, is a Registered Charity No. 292944.
