Code of Ethics and Confidentiality
We believe trust is an integral part of our ability to provide our members with the highest standards of care and thus it shall not be broken.
We acknowledge that your trust is not a right but a special privilege, and we will exercise care in the handling of confidences placed in our staff.
Only when the nature of the confidence may have a detrimental impact upon the standard of care would our staff consider passing it on, and then only to the person in charge. Our stringent standards of confidentiality also apply to information recorded in care plans and client records.
Members of the C4BH can be confident that their privacy will be respected at all times, and that all counsellors and staff will uphold the highest ethical standards.
